Flamingo stoves offer a standard option for connecting an external air supply. For the most efficient combustion possible, the supplied air is further divided into primary (below the grate), secondary for glass wash, and tertiary to support the combustion of gaseous particles.
The chamber is designed to achieve high efficiency and low fuel consumption, which averages 2,5 kg per hour. The combustion chamber is manufactured from heavy-gauge steel plate and lined with genuine fireclay for more complete combustion. Secondary combustion, a beautifully clean glass, and an external air supply are standard features on all Flamingo stoves. The entire combustion process is controlled by two levers: the first regulates the primary air supply needed to light and kindle the wood, while the second supports secondary combustion. Opening it introduces pre-heated air into the upper section of the combustion chamber. This air is used to ensure economical and highly efficient burning of the wood, guaranteeing high efficiency and beautiful, clean burning with a clear glass.
• The Bali tiled stove is additionally clad in genuine, hand-crafted tiles. The tile design was specially created by our designers and bears the name "confessional." The tiles serve as a thermal mass material, which significantly increases the heat-retention capacity of the stove.
