The AQUAFLAM 17 fireplace inserts feature many above-standard accessories, significantly outperforming competing products. The innovative elements are aimed primarily at improving the operation of the fireplace insert. The materials used are carefully selected to achieve the highest quality. For the customer's safety, the fireplace inserts are equipped as standard with a cooling loop and a permanently open tertiary air supply, which prevents gas accumulation in the combustion chamber. The basic and automatic control additionally closes the air supply in the event of overheating. AQUAFLAM fireplace inserts have achieved the most stringent European standards, including BImSchV – Stufe 2, 15a B-VG, DINplus, and Flamme Verte.

AUTOMATIC COMBUSTION CONTROL

The automatic control manages the heating circuit in which an Aquaflam combustion appliance, or additional heat sources, serves as the heat source. The combustion process is controlled automatically by an air damper, which works in conjunction with the control unit. The heat generated is directed to the domestic hot water (DHW) storage tank, an accumulation tank, and the central heating distribution system. The control unit incorporates three sensors and is capable of controlling three pumps. Thanks to the graphical display, you instantly receive information on the temperatures of individual sensors, whether the pumps or another heat source are active. This control system saves you a great deal of time in adjusting the insert, increases your safety, and reduces fuel consumption.
