(with permission) Until last year, a couple from South Bohemia were paying high electricity bills, as their main source of heating was an electric boiler. That has now come to an end. Jindřich discovered an economical way of heating by connecting a wood-burning stove to a thermal storage tank, and even shared a technical diagram of how the individual systems in his home are interconnected. In the interview, he revealed in detail how the entire heating system works and how much wood he actually burns. Jindřich, what was most important to you when choosing a wood-burning stove? The key factors were efficiency, output, and the ratio of heat transferred to the heat exchanger – which these stoves have at arguably the best level on the market.
