In order to obtain the permit, he was required to install a wood-burning stove in the house (as specified in the project documentation). The family bungalow was, however, brand new, and Petr was not particularly keen on making any structural modifications. Together with his partner, however, they managed to find a brilliant solution – they found a wood-burning stove that can be mounted on the wall. The single-storey house (130 m²) can be heated up in no time, meaning the owners don't need to switch on the electric boiler. Petr, how did the wall-mounted wood-burning stove help you when it came to obtaining your occupancy permit? Five years ago, my partner and I were buying a new build – a family home. We agreed with the original owner that we would purchase the house once the occupancy permit had already been granted. However, some minor issues arose during the permitting process, and
